[Haichuan Overseas Engineering] Shandong Haomai delivers 2,500-ton MEG (ethylene glycol treatment) modules to the Sakarya oil field in Turkey

On November 14, the delivery ceremony for the 2,500-ton MEG (ethylene glycol treatment) module manufactured by Shandong Haomai Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. was held in Rushan City. This marked the first time that either Haomai Company or Rushan City has achieved a breakthrough in the field of advanced marine equipment manufacturing, moving from modules of 100-ton scale to those of 1,000-ton scale. It is understood that this module is the core equipment for the processing of offshore natural gas at the Sakarya oil field of Turkey’s **Petroleum Company; it will be installed on offshore mobile oil and gas plants to carry out the regeneration and recycling of ethylene glycol, thereby ensuring continuous and stable production of offshore natural gas. “In fact, in our offshore engineering field, the most challenging part is the process module – its weight is quite high, its complexity is significant, and it involves many different disciplines. Basically, all control systems used in industrial applications can be found in this module. In terms of processing capacity, energy efficiency savings, and environmental protection, it is several orders of magnitude better than the previous versions, offering significant improvements for future green energy and high-end manufacturing powerhouses in the maritime sector. ”said Lin Bin, MEG project manager at Shandong Haomai Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd.
