On December 2, with the final section of the roof panel welded and inspected using non-destructive testing methods, Tianjin Branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 13th Construction Company completed 50% of the installation work on the main body of the caustic soda storage tank for the Gansu Juhua Silicon Fluoride Project Phase 6. The lye tank area is equipped with a total of 5 storage tanks, including those for 50% caustic soda, 32% caustic soda, and sodium hypochlorite. Among them, 32% of the caustic soda storage tanks have a designed capacity of 10,000 cubic meters, with a tank diameter of 31 meters and a height of 19 meters ; The design capacity of the sodium hypochlorite storage tank is 1,000 cubic meters; the diameter of the tank body is 11.5 meters, and its height is 10.65 meters. What is being installed this time is a 50% caustic soda storage tank with a designed capacity of 5,000 cubic meters. The tank has a diameter of 23.7 meters and a height of 16 meters, and it is made of S31603 stainless steel plates. Faced with various challenges such as harsh weather conditions and site limitations, the project team formulated a scientific implementation plan to ensure that the project milestones were met on schedule. They allocated resources effectively, giving top priority to safe construction practices and project quality. During the installation process, the team strictly adhered to all management requirements, intensified safety inspections, enhanced quality control throughout the entire process, and promptly addressed any issues that arose, thereby ensuring the steady progress of the project and ultimately achieving both safety and quality standards. The successful completion of the tank body this time lays a solid foundation for subsequent tasks such as equipment installation and process debugging. The project team will maintain a high level of enthusiasm, and while ensuring safety, accelerate the construction progress to complete the project on schedule.
