Recently, the cooling tower of the circulating water plant, the last individual building in the 500,000 tons per year light hydrocarbon deep processing project in Qingyang Tongxin, which was constructed by the Shaanxi branch of China National Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. This marks the finish of all the civil engineering structures for this project, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of equipment and the project’s full commissioning. Located in the Xifeng Industrial Park of Qingyang City, Gansu Province, this project uses liquefied gas and mixed hydrocarbons from the Changqing Oil Field and the petrochemical enterprises in the surrounding area of Qingyang as raw materials. It is aimed at developing the C3 and C4 industrial chains, with primary production of products such as propylene, BDO, furan, and MTBE. Since the project commenced, China Chemical Sanhua Construction Shaanxi Branch has made full use of its professional strengths, organizing tasks carefully and managing them in a scientific manner. By optimizing resource allocation, strictly adhering to construction standards, emphasizing safety and quality control, and applying advanced construction techniques and methods, it has successfully overcome various construction challenges, significantly improved efficiency, and done its utmost to ensure timely progress in the project, with the goal of delivering a high-quality project. Upon completion, the project will significantly raise the level of the regional chemical industry and the efficiency of resource utilization, promote local economic development, drive the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure, and accelerate the green and sustainable development of the local economy. It will also provide strong impetus for Qingyang, a former revolutionary area, to become a hub for modern integrated energy and chemical industries.
