Must a gas station have a control room? Can the PLC control cabinet be placed in the business hall?
Personally, I think if the control room is located in the business area, it can be separated by partitions, and it’s also possible to enter through different doors.
Personally, I think it’s not appropriate. Many components inside the PLC cabinet are quite sensitive, and they are also expensive. Dust, ventilation, and lighting all have a significant impact on them; if possible, it’s best to set up a separate room for them.
There’s no requirement stating that it cannot be placed in the business area; rather, there are requirements regarding the fire and explosion prevention capabilities of the equipment as well as the distance at which it should be installed.
