Since there are two outlet flow meters in the station – one for low flow rates (18–500 cubic feet per hour) and another for high flow rates (320–6500 cubic feet per hour) – manually switching between these meters when the flow rate varies significantly can lead to measurement errors. Therefore, it is necessary to install flow control valves in front of each meter, so that the flow rate can be adjusted to fit within each meter’s range, and it can automatically determine which meter should be used for measurement

It’s feasible; following the ethanol gasoline approach, add a batch controller and two control valves. The cost efficiency depends on how much you are willing to spend – what is the diameter of the control valves? What type of flow meter? caliber
One issue with this is whether the pressure downstream of the valve can be maintained after installing the control valve If the pressure at the point where the flow enters the meter can be maintained, then there will be no issues with the meter’s measurement; however, if the pressure does not remain stable, significant errors in the meter’s readings will occur Therefore, it is best to have remote pressure monitoring after the control valve and before the flow meter, so as to ensure the pressure!
