Dear teachers, I have encountered some projects related to LNG vaporization stations for use with internal gas boilers in enterprises during project design. Generally speaking, there are two scenarios: 1) Installing LNG storage tanks for vaporization and gas supply; 2) Using LNG cylinder trailers for vaporization and gas supply. I would like to ask for your opinions and discuss the following issues: 1) Regarding the safety distances in the overall layout of the gas station, the specifications for LNG storage tanks are given in Urban Gas Code sections 9.2.4 and 9.2.5 – but what about those applicable to cylinder trailers? According to Chengran’s standard of 7.4, only the distance from open flames and civil construction works needs to be considered – are there then no requirements regarding the workshops and warehouses inside the factory? 2. For LNG storage tanks, there are also several types: ① Fixed storage tanks (with foundations installed on-site to secure them); ② Containerized storage tanks (the difference from fixed tanks is that they lack such foundations and can be removed at any time); ③ Semi-trailer storage tanks, which have wheels and can be taken away using a semi-trailer after use. Regardless of the type of storage tank, there are no major issues regarding spacing, which should be in accordance with the requirements of City Gas Tables 9.2.4 and 9.2.5. But for fire dikes, how should the semi-trailer be configured? I’m asking everyone for help, to pool our ideas and share our opinions. Thank you

For LNG gasification facilities, the site selection can appropriately refer to the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering\" GB50183; There are certain spacing requirements specified in Article 4.2.12 of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" GB50160 regarding factory workshops and similar facilities; however, it seems that this code is not necessary to be followed for the applications you mentioned (the requirements are rather strict for liquefied hydrocarbons, and there are disagreements among design firms regarding applications involving LNG). It’s better to learn more about the local requirements and practices.
LNG is used in industrial gas boilers, and this falls under the category of projects transitioning from coal to gas supply. At present, there are no applicable **standards; in most cases, there is a lack of regulatory guidelines. For smaller-scale applications, Dewar tanks are used, while for larger-scale applications, tank trucks are more commonly utilized.
There are also standards in this regard; Beijing has a group rule that sets relatively low requirements for safety distances, but many local standards are not recognized in other places
For mobile storage tanks in the form of tank trucks, semi-trailers, and containerized units, there are no applicable standards in use; most people take advantage of this lack of regulations by using such equipment without any inspections. If inspected, they claim it is being used temporarily for equipment testing, haha
