Are there any relevant specifications or standards for the storage and transportation of LPG at sea?
1) LPG transport ships have the capability to store and transport LPG； But I’m not sure if it meets the requirements for the storage and transportation of LPG at sea as you mentioned? 2) If what the original poster is referring to are LPG transport ships, then this falls under the shipbuilding industry, and various classification societies have corresponding regulations and standards. In general, these standards are quite detailed; they cover aspects such as the tanks used for storing and transporting LPG, the process of filling and transferring LPG, insulation/pressure maintenance, level measurement, and fire safety. This requires reference to the rules of classification societies (such as DNV-GL, LR, BV, ABS, NK, etc.).
