Are the quick connectors or flanges more common for loading and unloading LNG tankers? Is it very troublesome to replace the quick-connect male connector?

Fast connections are often used in low-temperature applications, but it can be problematic when the sizes of these fast connections differ from those specified for the storage tanks. In such cases, the fast connections are removed; it’s better if the flanges don’t match either. Tank trucks come equipped with flange adapters that allow for adjustments to different pipe diameters
On one hand, domestic quick-connect fittings may not yet be fully developed; it might be worth trying imported brands, as they are likely to be more advanced in this area compared to those in China. After all, the cleanliness standards in foreign chemical plants and similar facilities are much higher than those in China, and this is achieved thanks to the splash-proof, leak-free, and highly airtight properties of these quick-connect fittings. Brands such as German Walther-Praezision and American PARKER are worth considering.
The issue of matching flanges for quick connection should be easy to resolve; the key question is whether frequent disassembly increases the workload for the operators involved, as well as what requirements there are in terms of operation. Also, just before frost forms, will thawing increase the refilling efficiency?
