On June 18, the Guoxin Rudong LNG receiving station project, constructed by the Second Engineering Company of Sinopec Fourth Construction Group, reached an important milestone: 6 high-pressure pumps were successfully lifted and installed on the 5.3-meter-high high-pressure transmission pump platform, a process that took 90 minutes. It is reported that the suction tank of the high-pressure pump involved in this construction is a key component of the gas transmission system at this LNG receiving station; the precision of its installation directly affects the proper installation of the pump core as well as the efficient operation of the high-pressure transmission pump. To ensure smooth lifting, the project management team maintained close communication with the owner and supervisor to develop a detailed plan. They conducted thorough inspections and verifications regarding the crane’s positioning, road obstacles, lifting equipment, as well as the crane’s performance. Additionally, they provided the workers with a comprehensive briefing on the plan. The on-site command was precise and the operations were steady; the entire lifting process was efficient and orderly, earning high praise from the project owner and supervisor on site.
