Trial operation of Phase 3 of the Beiren Tianjin Nangang LNG project

　　According to Sinochem New Network, recently, the third phase of Beijing Gas’ Tianjin Nangang liquefied natural gas (LNG) emergency reserve project was put into operation, with trial operations beginning. 　　The project scope includes 1 LNG terminal with an annual handling capacity of 5 million tons and the ability to accommodate LNG carriers with a maximum stable berthing volume of 266,000 cubic meters; in addition, there are 10 LNG storage tanks, gasification facilities with a maximum daily gasification capacity of 60 million cubic meters, 26 tank truck loading facilities, and 1 natural gas transmission pipeline spanning 217 kilometers. 　　The commissioning of Phase 3 of this project marks the completion and operation of all phases 1, 2, and 3, with the project now fully in production. Its gas storage capacity is at least 1 billion cubic meters, which will enhance the region of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei’s ability to handle emergency situations and ensure a stable supply of natural gas.
