Now, 90 days after the start of the war, the issue in the Strait of Hormuz remains unresolved, and Qatar is unable to export its LNG and helium, which has resulted in high global oil and gas prices. The domestic LNG market entered the 6-yuan era at the end of April; the price difference between oil and gas narrowed. Starting in May, sales of LNG-powered trucks declined, and sales at LNG refueling stations also dropped. Truck drivers began to turn to alternative energy sources such as methanol.
