Tense selection: While it’s acceptable to say “We repaired the pump yesterday, so it’s working now”, a better way to put it on site would be: ✅ We fixed the pump, and it’s now running normally. (Simple past tense + current state)
Use the present perfect tense to emphasize that something has been completed up to now: ✅ We have completed the concrete pour for the northern section. Instead of “We completed…”, unless a specific completion time is mentioned.
