I’m not very familiar with this topic, so a detailed explanation would be appreciated. ppm is equivalent to mg/L, and 1 cubic meter equals 1000 liters; I think 1 mg/L is equal to 1000 milligrams per cubic meter

PPM has no dimension, that is, it has no units – 1/1,000,000!
