The ORP of saltwater can be measured directly using an ORP electrode, but it is necessary to check whether the medium being tested contains components that could affect ORP measurement. There is no fixed relationship between ORP and pH, but pH measurement also involves assessing the response of hydrogen ions in the sample to a pH electrode, which is then converted into a pH value through a logarithmic transformation. For the ORP values of certain substances, the acidity of the system affects the measured values; these values are related to the relationship between the electrode potential of that system and the hydrogen ion concentration. However, the impact of pH on ORP values cannot be directly determined from the measured values.

The Mettler FE20 pH meter we use has two measurement modes; simply select the appropriate mode to carry out the measurement. pH measures the concentration of hydrogen ions, while ORP measures the redox potential of a solution. Some people on Baidu say that a change in potential of 59.1 millivolts corresponds to one pH unit. We have instruments here that measure the ORP value, used for real-time monitoring of production conditions. I’m not sure if this is correct; please use it as a reference selectively.
