Recently, the management has requested information on online analyzers that can be used to analyze the composition of organic substances; the main components in question are ammonia, isopropanolamine, malondiamine, etc. Could anyone recommend manufacturers that offer such devices? Or has anyone used something similar? Could you maybe tell me about it? Thank you
If you search on Baidu, you’ll find a ton of them.
Can online monitoring of organic substances provide accurate results?
There is a meter for measuring ammonia nitrogen, model Amtax-Compact-II (made by the American brand Hash), and there is also a meter for measuring COD, model CODMaxII – an online chromium-based COD analyzer (made by the E+H brand). Our factory has these two types of meters

Amines are organic compounds. If the focus is on analyzing these organic compounds in a sample, without considering the form of the heteroatoms they contain, then total organic carbon (TOC) can be used. If it is necessary to analyze the different forms of ammonia and amines in a sample, an analytical method with separation capabilities, namely chromatography, must be used. If there is water in the sample, ion chromatography can be used. If all nitrogen-containing substances in the sample are to be analyzed, this can be done by oxidizing and hydrolyzing the sample, followed by measuring its total nitrogen content. If analyzing ammonia nitrogen, one of the **methods specified in the standards for determining ammonia nitrogen can be used (there are approximately three standard methods)**
You can consult the analyzer manufacturer regarding the specific medium to be analyzed, ask them to propose a specific configuration plan for the analytical instruments, and provide past performance data for reference.
I can’t find any manufacturers on Baidu. Do you have any good recommendations?
You can first consult the two major companies, ABB and Siemens. If the problem cannot be solved, you can consult an analyzer kit supplier in your same industry.
It’s chaotic because there are so many; many companies aren’t professional
