For superheated steam, saturated steam, and boiler feedwater in boilers, it is necessary to measure hydrogen conductivity. Are there any units that use hydrogen conductivity meters? Please recommend some manufacturers and model numbers. Thank you!
This doesn’t require any manufacturers. This type of conductivity meter simply adds a hydrogen-ion-type strongly acidic cation exchange resin in front of the regular conductivity probe, thereby enabling the treatment of the sample. There is a specific standard in electrical standards that outlines the technical requirements for manufacturing these ion exchange resin cartridges and the resin itself.

The measurement principle of a hydrogen conductivity meter involves passing the water sample through an ion exchange column, using hydrogen ions for conversion, in order to determine the conductivity value of the water sample. In fact, measuring conductivity separately is costly, and the instrument also needs to be cleaned separately; it is entirely possible to use a multi-functional water quality tester for such measurements, which can also detect other chemical parameters such as total phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen.
