1 Follow the usage and storage instructions. 2 The expiration date stated on the certificate must be respected; certified reference materials/standards that have passed their expiration date should not be used. 3 For reusable certified reference materials/reference standards, ensure that their packaging is airtight and that their storage conditions meet the requirements. In some cases, it is necessary to repack the remaining portion; otherwise, the given characteristic values may be invalid, resulting in certified reference materials/standards being unusable or unreliable. Users should follow the usage instructions provided by the manufacturer in this regard. 4 Sampling should be carried out at the minimum sampling volume specified. If it is less than the minimum sampling amount, it is not representative. 5 For reusable certified reference materials/reference standards, they should be mixed thoroughly again before use. Otherwise, over time, the remaining certified reference materials/standards will no longer be representative of the packaged batches that have been produced and calibrated, and the values and uncertainties stated on the certificates will become invalid. 6 Standard materials marked with “Please use this standard material in its entirety after opening” must not be poured into another container for repeated use.
