Fault in integrated sulfur determination instrument

During the use of the sulfur analyzer, electrolyte backflow occurred; it was disassembled, cleaned, and dried with a hair dryer. After installation, the electrolyte is prepared; all other conditions are fine. However, each time a coal sample is burned, sulfur cannot be detected, and the corresponding electrolysis voltage is very low, making it unusable. I urge experts to provide a solution.
I would like to ask: for integrated sulfur determination instruments, are there any substances that cannot be tested? When I was testing the substances, I got results for the first one immediately and the machine was working properly; however, when I tested the next sample, the electrolysis voltage suddenly dropped to around 9.1. I suspect it might be the sample that disrupted the iodide ion balance. Those who have had similar experiences, please give an explanation. Thank you
