Dear Haihao friends, I have a question from a layperson’s perspective: For samples used to generate C13 MRI spectra, where does the C13 in these samples come from? Isn’t it all C12?

Carbon-14 is the radioactive isotope; it also exists in nature, but due to decay, its amount gradually decreases in dead plants.
