Dear colleagues in the industry, have you ever tried to reuse the dilute acid produced by acid waste treatment systems in order to reduce the burden on wastewater treatment? I’ve heard that some companies in the mineral acid sector do this, but I’m not sure if it will have an impact on the quality of their products. I would appreciate any insights from those with more experience!

Ten years ago, Shanghai Sike put into operation a 400,000 tons per year waste sulfuric acid pyrolysis and regeneration plant (using imported technology) ； Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company has also used the technical designs from Nanjing Research Institute to develop more than a dozen sets of waste sulfuric acid pyrolysis and regeneration units.
