In the ACN butadiene process for this project, the by-product tetrahydrocarbon residue must be burned as fuel. This residue has a high saturated vapor pressure; currently, the pressure of this waste fluid is 6 barg, and it is calculated that flashing occurs when the pressure drops below 3.5 barg. Currently, waste liquid nozzles are limited to low-pressure flashing, resulting in a very low adjustment ratio. I would like to know the actual amount of tetrahydrocarbon residues and polymers, as well as the characteristics of the flashing process. Heat is needed; otherwise, evaporation is difficult. There is too much of it; it should be recycled. After all, it is a resource, and sending it to incinerators also has environmental implications.
