Wrong! ! Ordinary flat keys are made of 45 steel. The standard flat key offers good alignment, high positioning accuracy, and is easy to install and remove; however, it cannot provide axial fixation for the components on the shaft, and is therefore used for shafts that operate at high speeds or are subject to shocks and variable loads ； Thin flat keys are used in thin-walled structures and in applications where low torque transmission is required ； Guided flat keys use screws to fix the key to the shaft, and are used in situations where the parts on the shaft need to move only a short distance along it.
