On September 25, 2021, the total ethylene production at Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical reached 1 million tons! This is the first time that 1 million tons of ethylene have been produced since the completion and operation of the company’s second-phase ethylene project. As the beautiful month of October approaches, we have reaped a bountiful harvest through our hard work! All the people of Quanhua cheered and applauded at this wonderful news! From the commissioning of the ethylene plant on September 20, 2020, to today when the ethylene production reached 1 million tons, it took us only 370 days. Securing these 1 million tons of ethylene was no easy task. Under the leadership of the company’s management and operational team, the production staff overcame various difficulties encountered in the early stages of operation. They continuously optimized the operating load of the cracking furnaces, finding ways to overcome obstacles as they arose, and pressed forward bravely in the face of challenges. As a result, the output of ethylene reached its first milestone of 1 million tons, pushing Sinochem Energy’s integrated refining and production capabilities to a new level!
