Dear experts, where can I find services for providing protection inside heat exchanger tube bundles, carried out on-site? The inlet temperature of the material is 130 degrees Celsius; it involves shell and tube exchangers with a diameter of 800 mm and a length of around 6 meters. Circulating water flows through the tube side. Could you recommend any methods for providing protection inside these tube bundles on-site?
Internal defense? Does it prevent corrosion? If it’s for corrosion prevention, will it not affect heat transfer? Why not choose suitable materials? Another issue is the peeling of the anti-corrosion coating, for reference.
Anti-corrosion treatment inside the tube bundle that passes through the medium does not seem to be very effective. Even if the initial anti-corrosion effect is good, after steam purging is carried out for shutdown inspection and maintenance, the anti-corrosion layer may peel off and lose its protective function. Therefore, it is recommended to give more consideration to material upgrades. If there are truly effective internal anti-corrosion techniques that prevent peeling, please recommend some manufacturers and such technologies.
