Recently, according to an evaluation by Solomon Consulting, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical’s comprehensive index for equipment maintenance in its refining facilities ranks it in the top global group. Solomon Consulting is a professional and authoritative organization that conducts evaluations of global refining, ethylene, and other related sectors; only companies whose relevant indices rank within the top 25% globally can be classified in the first group. Sinopec entrusted this company for the first time to evaluate the maintenance and reliability of its refining equipment, with Zhenhai Refining & Chemical being the only entity involved in this effort. For this evaluation, 10 refining units at Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. were selected, and the assessment was conducted primarily in terms of comprehensive maintenance costs, expenses incurred for maintenance, and equipment reliability. The results showed that Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. has competitive maintenance costs, and it manages downtime due to unit failures effectively. In recent years, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical has continued to deepen equipment integrity management, using 45 key KPIs for equipment as a guide to accelerate improvements in quality and efficiency, thereby enhancing the reliability of its equipment.
