From December 20th to 22nd, Sinochem Energy organized a meeting to conduct the completion inspection for the 1 million tons per year ethylene and refining expansion project in Quanzhou. An expert group consisting of 5 members from the China Petroleum Engineering Association, the China Chemical Construction Enterprises Association, and industry experts was invited to review documents such as the completion inspection report for the ethylene project; Sinochem Energy, Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical, and the project management department for ethylene production attended the meeting. The acceptance process took three days, during which the acceptance team carried out the assessment through a combination of offline review of documents and online video conferences. The acceptance team and experts first listened to the reports on the acceptance process presented by representatives from the ethylene project department, as well as those from the supervision agency, the general contractor, and the construction unit. They raised questions regarding various aspects, and then examined in groups the status of the handover acceptance, special inspections related to fire safety and environmental protection, production assessments and calibrations, the completion of final accounting and audits, and the status of document acceptance. Ultimately, they issued an acceptance opinion stating that the overall layout and design of the Sinochem Quanzhou 1 million tons/year ethylene and refinery expansion project are reasonable, the process technology is advanced, and the equipment is operating well ； After production evaluation and calibration, all indicators have met the design requirements, and the utility systems and auxiliary facilities are sufficient to meet the production needs ； Fire protection, lightning protection, environmental protection, safety facilities, and occupational disease prevention facilities shall be designed, constructed, and put into use simultaneously with the main project ； The archival materials are basically complete, systematic, and accurate, meeting the needs of production and management ； The project quality is excellent ； The final settlement for completion has been audited, and the assets have been transferred. The completion acceptance panel unanimously agreed that the Sinochem Quanzhou 1 million tons/year ethylene and refining expansion project has passed the completion acceptance.
