On December 25, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical’s first polyolefin modification unit was put into operation, successfully producing modified polypropylene products that are used in industries such as home appliances and automotive interior components. These products represent the first batch of items developed by Zhenhai Refining & Chemical as part of its efforts to produce high-end materials tailored to specific needs. 　　Using polyolefins produced internally by Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., this facility employs process technologies independently developed by Sinopec Ningbo New Materials Research Institute. Through processes such as plasticization, mixing, and granulation, it produces environmentally friendly modified polypropylene or polyethylene products tailored to the needs of downstream customers. The facility is equipped with 5 production lines that can be switched between flexibly, and features precise formulation, intelligent packaging, and environmentally friendly production methods. Once in operation, it will help enhance Zhenhai Refining & Chemical’s capacity to produce modified polymer materials as well as its competitiveness in the high-end molecular materials market.
