According to a report by S&P Global Commodity Insights on July 30, 2025, following a series of commissioning tests, Sanfang*ang’s newly built PTA plant in Jiangyin, China, with an annual production capacity of 3 million tons, began operations successfully on July 30. The facility is located in Jiangsu and consists of two PTA production lines, each with a rated capacity of 1.5 million tons per year. At present, only one production line is in operation, running at near full capacity.
