Recently, the \"Standard for Blending Components of Ethanol-Benzine for Vehicles\" (GB/T 22030—2025), whose revision was primarily led by China National Petroleum Corporation’s Northeast Sales Company, was officially released. This marks the first time that Northeast Sales has participated in the revision of a standard related to products. On September 7, 2017, this standard was officially released and put into effect. To further meet the requirements for improved oil quality and market demands, in 2019, the **Standardization Committee put forward revision suggestions regarding technical requirements for unconventional additives, vapor pressure, detergents, and analysis methods, and initiated the process of standard revision. The Northeast Sales department took the lead in formulating the company’s internal control standards for \"Internal Control Indicators for Components Used in Ethanol-blended Gasoline.\" It conducted comprehensive tests on ethanol-blended gasoline produced by various refining companies, and used scientific statistical analysis methods to accurately determine various key technical indicators and parameters. During the standard revision process, Northeast Sales, as a key participant, carried out numerous experiments, practical tests, and research efforts focusing on externally sourced materials and testing methods. By determining the physical and chemical properties of the constituent oils, such as their octane rating, boiling range, and vapor pressure, it was possible to unify the testing standards across the board. This approach helped to prevent issues such as reduced combustion efficiency caused by problems with the quality of these constituent oils, ensuring that the blended ethanol gasoline met the requirements of vehicle engines. It also resolved the key issues related to the inclusion of components such as silicon, chlorine, and aniline in the standards for constituent oils used in vehicle ethanol gasoline.
