Turntable gear issue

As shown in the diagram, the pinion gear has an involute profile, while the gear wheel appears to be straight-lined at first glance. I have only a basic understanding of equipment-related knowledge, and that knowledge has long since run out. I would like to ask everyone: is this pairing correct? Is it suitable?
It’s fine for such occasions; it’s used little, and the rotation speed is very low.
No problem at all. High load, low speed. I have seen it. Large gears are easy to machine.
It doesn’t need to be permanently meshed together. No problem.
This is an electric trolley, right? The electric trolley moves very slowly! !
The large gear rotates only 1-2 times per minute; there’s no problem with that. Is this considered a sophisticated piece of equipment?
