I was wondering: are welder’s certificates divided into those issued by the Work Safety Supervision Bureau for welding operations, and those issued by the Special Equipment Inspection Center for structural welding and pressure vessel welding? What’s the difference? What are the various certificates related to welders?‘’ ； How is it classified depending on the issuing authority?
A welder’s certificate for special equipment is not the same as other qualifications; other certificates cannot be used on boilers and pressure vessels
The certificate issued by the Work Safety Supervision Bureau seems to be a special operations permit; the special equipment operation permit is issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and it can be checked on their official website!
