Why does the bearing at the pulley end overheat severely after a Rohter blower has been in operation for one hour?
The cooling water is blocked; is the bearing installed correctly? Has the oil seal been replaced?
The oil seal hasn’t been replaced, there’s no cooling water, and the bearings should be fine
The bearing shouldn’t have any problems; it’s likely either too tight or the belt is too tight.
The belt isn’t tight; I now suspect that the side clearance is too large. I’m not sure if that’s the case. The bearings were replaced recently – could it be that the fit of the outer rings is loose?
Does the oil seal have a significant impact on the fan’s temperature?
It’s not large; it’s because the bearing cover is pressed too tightly, resulting in too small a bearing clearance.
1. Excessive lubrication: The amount of lubricant for rolling bearings is generally 1/3 to 1/2 of the volume of the bearing housing, with a maximum of no more than 2/3. 2. The bearing fit is too tight, resulting in an excessively small bearing clearance (i.e., installation clearance) after assembly. 3. The axial expansion allowance of the bearing is insufficient, and the bearing cover is tightened too much.
What was said on the 9th floor makes sense – it’s not true that the more grease there is in the bearing chamber, the better. The lubricating oil should generally reach up to the normal line of the gears. What type of bearings are being used? In the drive end, self-aligning bearings are usually used, while ball bearings are used in the driven end. It’s possible that the fan’s drive end is installed too tightly. If not, then there is a problem with the bearing.
