The cycle hydrogen compressor units in our company’s hydrogenation plant have been experiencing frequent speed fluctuations recently, with the speed dropping by 500–600 revolutions per minute within 10 seconds. We’re not sure what the cause is; we hope experts can provide some guidance.
It is recommended to check the opening degree of the regulator valve to see if there is an insufficient steam flow or pressure

What power is used to drive it?
1: From a process perspective, first check whether there is liquid in the liquid separation tank at the inlet of the cyclohydrogen compressor, as well as any issues with incomplete liquid removal. 2: Check whether there are any abnormal changes in the pressure, temperature, and flow rate of the 3.5Mpa turbine, as well as whether the back pressure of the turbine is normal. 3: Check whether there is any leakage or flow fluctuation at the outlet of the counter-rotation valve. 4: Check whether the circulating hydrogen flow rate is being measured properly. Consider equipment-related factors: 1. Adjust the speed appropriately, and observe whether the secondary oil pressure changes in sync with the steam injection valve’s stroke, in order to determine whether there is an issue with the valve operation. 2: Check whether the electro-hydraulic conversion valve is leaking oil and whether the equipment is in good condition. 3: Check the operation of the unit’s ITCC control system. Generally, the most commonly used systems in ITCC are Tricon and CCC systems, with the latter being extremely accurate!
Is there water or excessive impurities in the power oil? In winter, in northern regions, if the power oil in outdoor units contains a high level of water, the situation you described will occur
