Air locking in a centrifugal pump generally does not cause the motor to experience overcurrent.
When a centrifugal pump is gas-locked, its flow rate is low, the pressure is low, the current is low and fluctuates, but it does not exceed the rated current.
Prolonged use can cause leakage in mechanical seals.
