The reciprocating raw material gas compressors used in this unit, both at the first and second stages, are cooled using the circulating water in the cylinders. It was found that the temperature at the packing of the first stage was normal, around 30 degrees, whereas it was 70 degrees at the second stage. What is the reason for this? ? ? I seek advice from experts. . . .

There are several reasons for heat generation in the filler: 1. Consider whether the inter-stage heat exchange in the second stage of the gas supply system is adequate, as well as whether there is scaling, leakage, or other issues. 2. The compression ratio of the second stage should be appropriate – it should not be too high, as this can lead to overheating in that stage and a loss of mechanical balance; Or the secondary air valve is leaking. 3. Check whether the cooling water for the secondary packing is flowing properly, as well as the water temperature. 4. The installation gap for the secondary packing is too small, resulting in high friction and temperature (this can be determined by the temperature of the piston rod and the color of its surface). 5. The secondary packing has failed and is leaking (this can be detected through gas leakage and the temperature of the piston rod). 6. Issues within the secondary cylinder or other problems
It has nothing to do with the gas valve; the gas valve is in good condition

The high temperature of the secondary filler has no direct relation to the primary filler; it is necessary to check the issues with the secondary filler. Assemble strictly in accordance with the requirements. Next, check the secondary intake temperature and the secondary piston rings.
