Will the exhaust temperature rise with a large clearance? Is the clearance small?
The so-called large clearance should be above the designed clearance, and the exhaust temperature should increase. Too small a clearance can easily lead to cylinder collision; on one hand, the piston rod and piston in the compressor expand due to heat, and on the other hand, liquid substances carried in the gas stream can cause liquid slugging. From a safety perspective, it is better to have a larger clearance rather than a smaller one.
