The medium is chilled water at a temperature of 9 degrees; the inlet liquid level is 5 meters high. The pump must have a NPSH of 5 meters. Will cavitation occur during the operation of the pump?
Where is the pump installed? Is the liquid level in the inlet tank 5 meters above the pump?

As long as the pumping pump is working properly, cavitation will not occur.
You haven’t provided enough parameters: what is the pressure in the gas phase space of the chilled water inlet tank, how far is the tank from the pump, and are there many fittings in between?

If there is no negative pressure and the resistance in the inlet pipe is not high, then cavitation will not occur. Cavitation is related to the saturated vapor pressure of the liquid at the operating temperature; cavitation occurs when the inlet pressure is lower than the saturated vapor pressure at that operating temperature.
