This post was last edited by Catalyzing a Grain on 2019-1-9 21:48. What changes occur to the inner and outer layers of triangular tape when it is mounted on pulleys and in operation? How does the taper of the belt’s cross-section change?
The angle of the V-belt is 40°, while the groove angles of the pulleys are 34°, 36°, and 38°. When in use, the V-belt must be compressed and deformed to transmit power through friction on both sides.
Thank you for your advice, but what I’m asking is about the changes on the outer layer, the changes in the cross-section
