The company is currently testing one slurry pump; when it is started, there are loud noises and significant vibrations in the pump’s inlet and outlet chambers, with water as the medium used.
Is cavitation possible? How to address it?
When the seal flushing water pipe is opened, the rotor turns very tightly, but there are no jamming points.
The clearance between the outer ring of the bearing and the bore of the bearing housing is large.
It should be PLAN54, the external flushing circulation system
The higher the flushing pressure, the tighter the turning gear becomes
The flushing pressure is 13 Mpa, while the pressure in the pump chamber is only 4 Mpa; this is likely the reason for the tightness issue when turning the shaft. There is another issue: abnormal noises and heavy vibration occur in the pump chamber when it is in export mode.
