The Roots vacuum pump has an overload protection feature that activates after a few hours of operation; both the pipelines and the motor have been replaced, yet the same problem persists. Does anyone know the reason?
It is recommended to conduct a disassembly inspection of the gaps and bearings to see if there is any relationship between these gaps and changes in temperature

The pressure difference range of rotary vane vacuum pumps is small; obvious overload occurs when the volume of gas at the previous stage is low and the vacuum level is low. The rotary vane vacuum pump cannot handle the vacuum level present at the previous stage
It is necessary to contact the manufacturer to find out whether it is due to an excessively small gap in the rotor inside, such that the gap becomes even smaller as the temperature rises after a few hours of operation.
Check the value on the negative pressure gauge when starting up; it must not exceed the negative pressure value specified on the nameplate, otherwise the motor may overload
