The crosshead of the compressor spark plug rod is fixed by pressure; what is its structure? Could someone with expertise please provide guidance? Would it be best to have illustrations?
Connection methods between the crosshead and the connecting rod: threaded connection, coupler connection, hydraulic connection. Threaded connections feature a simple structure and are easy to install; they allow for adjustment of the cylinder end-gap at the connection point, and are used in medium and small compressors. The coupling is secured using split clamps and flanges on the crosshead body; this design is relatively complex. The clearance at the cylinder end points can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the gaskets, and there is no need to rotate the piston in large compressors. Hydraulic connection: This design features a piston rod without threads, but with a flange at its end. The crosshead is threaded and connects to the screw coils; stop adjustment rings are installed on these coils. The rotating ring allows control over the clearance between the inner and outer stops of the piston. The pressure-bearing screw coils are positioned closely together, with large nuts fitted over them, and the end faces of these large nuts are supported by the crosshead.

This structure is very simple: under the action of the pressure element, its piston stretches a small portion of the piston rod. The lever is then used to move the outer ring of the pressure element into contact with the crosshead; by applying pressure repeatedly and moving the crosshead, the piston rod is stretched against the crosshead within that section, thus being fully fixed in place
