Hello everyone. Many of our devices rely on vacuum processing. I encountered a problem last time. It’s the steam ejector; when it’s used for half of its capacity, water doesn’t flow downward or flows very slowly. It’s at that injector audition site where you can see that the water has risen to such a level that it’s already reaching the audition area. I would like to ask what the reason for this is. The method I used was to turn off the water first, allowing it to flow downward due to gravity. You can fine-tune it later. I would like to ask what the reason for this situation is. I’m not exactly sure what kind of device you have. From what I understand, you probably use a jet pump to create a vacuum; generally, the jet pump extracts non-condensable gases, which are then mixed with the driving steam and condensed. Are you saying that the condensate water can’t be drained? It might be that the power steam is set too high.
It seems that the installation of the air legs isn’t very proper; the presence of air in between makes it difficult for the condensate to be discharged promptly. It only gets discharged once it has accumulated to a certain level!
Are there any issues during actual use? Is the vacuum level not high enough? Does it affect usage? How long does it last before being used up? Could it be that dirty steam or dirty circulating water is causing the blockage?
The drainage in the condensate pipe of the heat exchanger behind the ejector is not smooth; when the operating pressure inside the heat exchanger is negative, the drainage pipe is also under negative pressure, and thus a certain liquid level is formed within the pipe. With 1 atmosphere corresponding to a liquid level of 10 meters, adjusting the ejector means adjusting the vacuum level, which in turn adjusts the pressure inside the condenser.
