Precautions for sealing during the commissioning of the internal circulation oil system in centrifugal units: Is there a difference in size between the testing seal and the actual seal, and which air pipe should be used?
The design institute gives you some advice. Before oil transportation, isolation gas for the dry gas seal should be supplied to prevent oil from entering the seal.
I didn’t understand it. Test seal and final seal?
For some units equipped with dry gas seals, a test seal is provided, which is replaced by the permanent seal after the testing is completed. Labyrinth seals are commonly used for test run sealing; it doesn’t matter.
The test run seal is usually a labyrinth seal; once the test run goes smoothly, it is removed and replaced with a proper dry gas seal. As for using isolation gas or secondary seal gas during oil transportation, either option should work
