First, the material needs to be checked; copper high-pressure seals like this require tempering (annealing) treatment before use. Additionally, the bolt tightening force during installation should be even, applying pressure gradually and evenly. Otherwise, uneven stress is the main cause of damage to the gasket. It would also be better to send a video; it’s more intuitive to communicate through visuals.

Use a depth gauge to measure the dimensions of the valve gasket platform, the total height of the valve, and the dimensions of the platform at the compressor’s sealing flange. Then calculate the height it should have after installation. After installation, measure again to check for any areas where there is insufficient contact.
