This is a centrifugal pump. When filling the pump, how can we completely expel the gas from within the seal chamber?
It’s not as simple as just driving it out, right? If it’s a liquefied gas liquid pump, an inert gas should be used for sealing. Without a gas seal, this absolute sealing may not be achievable. It’s just a guess, for reference only. It is best to follow the diagram of the equipment flow chart, as the principles are contained therein. What medium? With such a large photo, the area of the key parts you specified accounts for less than one-tenth of the entire photo – at least the inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump should be highlighted as key elements
In the picture, it can be seen that this uses an organic fluid for liquid-phase sealing. The picture isn’t complete; external liquid-phase sealing relies on external pressure. Once in use, as long as the pressure of the external air source is higher than that in the sealing chamber, the chamber will be filled with liquid. In the event of a leak, the external sealing fluid will flow inward, preventing the medium from leaking to the atmosphere side
Sealing requires separate venting, to be done from the highest point of the mechanical seal
