Dear experts, if the upper and lower belts of a horizontal conveyor run in opposite directions, what could be the cause? What measures can be taken to correct it?

To ensure that the axes of the driving and driven wheels (the drive drum and the driven drum, or the rear drum) are parallel, it is possible to adjust the tensioning wheel or screw, or use a weight-based tensioning system (where the forces on either side of the weight or box-type tensioning device are not equal). Debris or stuck material on the wheels can cause the drums to become out of round; cleaning the drums helps maintain their circular shape. Check whether the axes on both sides of the frame are parallel using a wire puller or a laser theodolite. There are self-aligning rollers on the frame; it is possible that these rollers are faulty, or that some of them have become skewed due to long-term use.
