The motor is connected directly to the reducer via a rolling key; after installing a new key and running the equipment for 2 hours, abnormal noises appeared. I would like to know what could be causing this issue. Dozens of similar devices in the company are experiencing the same problem. The motor shaft has a diameter of 28 mm, and the key used is of 8*7 size
The continuous rolling of the key between the motor and the reducer may be caused by an inappropriate size of the key selected. If the key is too small or of poor quality, it is prone to key rolling.
