On January 8, after comprehensive testing to confirm the trial operation plan, the residual pressure generator set No. 1 at Anyue Purification Company successfully completed its startup procedure with air intake, and on January 9 it began generating electricity and connecting to the grid. The installed capacity for waste heat power generation is 2×750 kilowatts; the designed annual power generation volume is 8.8989 million kWh. The energy substitution rate reaches 13.52%, allowing for the reduction of 4,690.60 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year. It also saves 4.9 million yuan in electricity costs, and can replace the energy production equivalent to 2,800 tons of standard coal. The successful grid connection of this device marks a significant breakthrough by SHENGU Group in the field of utilizing natural gas pressure differences – it represents the first such system of its kind in the industry.
