(referred to as “Chongtong Group”) made a breakthrough in its large-scale compressor project: the core rotor assembly, weighing 9.8 tons in total, was successfully assembled in one go in the final assembly workshop! With its performance in breaking both the weight and diameter records for similar assemblies at Chongtong Group, this component has been successfully installed, marking a crucial step forward in the delivery of this key project. The rotor is the “heart” of the compressor, and its assembly precision directly determines the performance and reliability of the entire unit. The size and weight of this rotor set impose extremely high requirements on coaxiality and fit clearance, posing assembly challenges of unprecedented severity. The Process Technology Department carried out thorough planning, developed detailed specialized assembly plans and emergency response protocols, and provided on-site technical support throughout the entire operation. During the production period, the process and assembly teams worked in close collaboration. Process engineers are stationed on the front line, providing real-time data and decision support to swiftly respond to any minor changes during assembly ； The operators in the final assembly workshop, thanks to their superb skills and extensive experience, strictly adhere to the process requirements, carrying out their tasks with precision and care. Through close cooperation, both parties managed to overcome a series of challenges, including the difficulties associated with lifting and positioning heavy components as well as the high requirements for precision control. As a result, the rotor was successfully introduced smoothly and placed accurately, with all key technical specifications being met from the first attempt. The successful one-time assembly of this heavy rotor set demonstrates CHINT Group’s technical expertise and team efficiency in the field of assembling heavy-duty, high-precision equipment.
