What are the hazards of operating a boiler exhaust fan with water in it?
It’s similar to a fan blowing air when the humidity is very high, right?

The flue gas at the boiler outlet contains sulfur; water corrosion (in impellers, volutes, flues, etc.) can be severe, so find a way to remove it as soon as possible.
Check whether there is air leakage at the fan shaft seal.

If operation with water present is severe: 1. Water vapor at the shaft seal enters the bearing box along the shaft, damaging the lubricant and bearings; the bearings are prone to coming apart, which further increases fan vibration. The anchor bolts of the bearing box can loosen due to these intense vibrations, and the foundation may even crack, with the fan’s impeller possibly being thrown off. If the water contamination is not severe, the effect is gradual, leading to corrosion of the fan impeller and casing.
